Matang Wildlife Centre - is the orang utan adoption programme, where young orang utans, who were either orphaned or rescued from captivity, are taught how to survive in the wild. It also houses other different types of wildlife.

Matang Wildlife Centre is situated at the western corner of the Kubah National Park, consisting of about 179 hectares of lowland forest. Matang Wildlife Centre is about 30km from Kuching City and it takes about 40km minutes to reach the Centre.

The center is responsible for rescuing and helping a wide variety of animals into the wild.  The main attraction is the orang utan adoption programmed, where young orang utans, who were either orphaned or rescued from captivity, are taught to survive in the wild.  Beside orang utan, the centre includs spacious enclosures housing monkey,  sambar deer, crocodiles, sun bears, civets, and three large aviaries featuring hornbills, eagles, kites, storks and also other wildlife and it is also a host of other birds native in Sarawak.
